We would like to express our sincere gratitude to B.A.C.K. O.F.F. of Brunswick County for inviting us to attend the Narcan Training they hosted yesterday. We are very grateful for the opportunity to share information about the Coalition and our platform with them. It was a great meeting in which we laughed, we cried, we learned, we grew, we shared from our hearts, we formed bonds of unity and we received life saving Naloxone kits.

There were members of the community present who have lost loved ones, who have loved ones in active addiction, and those who have loved ones in recovery as well as resource providers from NC Harm Reduction Coalition, Brunswick Christian Recovery Center, The Palms Health and Wellness, Coastal Horizons and Oceanside Family Counseling and Resource Center. It’s encouraging to see so many coming together to address the opioid crisis and address effective measures to confront it. We are so much stronger together; there is power in unity. CHANGE will come to Brunswick County and to the state of North Carolina through amazing people them.
