September is Alcohol and Drug Recovery Month!

We are honored to partner with The Palms Health and Wellness and WVCB 1410 AM Christian Radio to host Hope For Recovery 2017.

The Palms Health and Wellness will be having their official ribbon cutting and making a huge (very special) announcement during this event. We’ve confirmed many speakers including parents who have lost children, amazing recovery testimonies, treatment and resource providers, pastors, representatives of North Carolina Parents Coalition for C.H.A.N.G.E., Mr. Tom Sherman of B.A.C.K. O.F.F. of Brunswick County, Lieutenant Steve Lanier of the BCSO, the Honorable Judge Ola Lewis and many more.

There will be food, fun activities for the kids, various ministries, live music, raffles and RESOURCE TABLES. There will also be a luminary release in memory of those we love and have lost.

This event is for EVERYONE; those in active addiction and their families; those in recovery and their families, parents who have lost children, parents who are fighting for their children, parents who are celebrating their children’s recovery, resource providers, treatment providers, community organizations, law enforcement, emergency services, elected officials, and concerned citizens. The opioid epidemic is a national health crisis and it affects everyone whether they’ve been personally impacted by it or not; it should be of concern to every single person living in this county, this state and this country.

The purpose of this event is to promote UNITY in confronting this crisis as we learn from each other, discover how to help each other, promote awareness and education, connect people and provide resource information.

Please click the “going” option and come join us in the fight to save our loved ones lives. It’s too late for some of our loved ones. Join us in our fight to save others.
