We all stand in awe of the show of support at our 1st Annual Hope For Recovery of Brunswick County event.  This is an event we would like to organize in every county of North Carolina annually to promote unity in confronting the opioid scourge, provide education and awareness to end stigma, promote awareness of available resources within each community, to let impacted parents and families know they are not alone,  and show those who suffer from mental health, substance use disorders and are sex trafficking victims that we care for them and are fighting to help them.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our co-hosts of the event, Palms Health and Wellness, LLC and WVCB 1410 Christian Radio in Shallotte, North Carolina. The bonds between our organizations will make an impact not only in Brunswick County but across the state of North Carolina.

We are extremely grateful to Palms Health and Wellness who presented NCPCC’s Chair, Alecia Roberts with a key to an office to house the coalition within the Palms facility!
Palms Health and Wellness, LLC had their official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and announced their partnership with StAT (Stand Against Trafficking) to soon house twelve sex trafficking victims at Open Palms Ministry.
